Our students are the heart of our school. We believe we have a responsibility in the intellectual, social, creative and physical growth of every student in our care.
We are committed to excellence and relevance in our teaching. This involves recognising the strengths and weaknesses of each student so that programs across all contexts incorporate appropriate learning strategies to achieve maximum outcomes. Willetton Senior High School has a number of specialist support staff who are based in the Student Services Centre and who work in collaboration with teachers, heads of learning and administration in supporting students and parents.
For support with particular subjects or to seek advice on course content or extra study, please contact the class teacher (listed on your child's timetable) or the Head of Learning Area. These teachers are experts in their field and are enthusiastic to collaborate with parents and guardians to achieve the best results for each child. Most teachers can be contacted at the learning area offices and if needed the front office will assist you to reach them.
Inquiries about curriculum, reporting and timetabling should be directed to the operations office. Advice on particular courses or compatibility of courses is best sought from heads of learning area. Information on examinations, the requirements for graduation, VET studies and entry to further education or work should be directed to personnel working in operations, VET and course counselling.
If you are seeking support or information about the attendance, general behaviour or welfare of students, the Student Services staff are the main contacts.
