The Year 9 Gifted and Talented students were challenged to apply their knowledge to determine the total cost of paint required to repaint Miss Colquhoun’s classroom. They were given a measuring tape, the cost of 4L of paint, as well as the paint distribution per square metre of both rendered and exposed brick walls. The students did an incredible job measuring the classroom, working with their peers and then applying their mathematical knowledge to determine the answer.
